Guess it's something I need to work on more.Yeah, I know that feeling. Like it feels a bit like cheating. I still almost never crop to an aspect ratio other than the one straight out of the camera for the same reason.
But it's all just psychological. Especially given how high the resolution is on modern cameras, there's not really a good reason not to crop other than OCD if it would improve your composition.
