>>3477162"Finally, its competitive price will also strongly appeal to keen amateurs who are looking for a solid all-rounder." ??? What am I missing. So basically Sony made the two main impressive components, EVF and sensor. Panasonic made the big body. Leica raised the price. And with everyone sharing the income from sales of these cameras, not to mention the low lens count and no doubt very expensive when they do ship out.... where exactely does "competitive price" and "keen amateurs" factor into this?
Sony a7rIII, arguably more competent all around is currently $2,798.00 on B&H. And there are deals for it all the time with more choices for lenses and better prices.
Panasonic Lumix DC-S1R Mirrorless Digital Camera (Body Only) B&H $3,697.99, with limited number of expensive lenses.
By the time price of Lumix drops to current Sony body, Sony will release a7rIV. So why would you invested in Lumix and be at least a generation behind on body alone, not to mention the lenses selection?
Once again, where exactely does, and I quote "Finally, its competitive price will also strongly appeal to keen amateurs who are looking for a solid all-rounder." comes from? Seems like a very strange conclusion to me. But what do I know.
