It's different. Yashica collaborated with Contax for a long time and it even says zeiss on the lens. They are not on the same level. I know minolta were briefly associated with leica at one point but the partnership was long gone by the time of this chinese made camera. I think OP mistook minolta for yashica.

You can't just put scanning negative film on auto and expect great results.
The film is not the problem.

Colorplus is always going to be grainy, but you can get some great results with the right lighting and exposure.

more colorplus. In my experience, it performs best with warm light and high contrast scenes. That's not to say other films couldn't render this scene better, but for a cheap film, Colorplus isn't as bad as your photos suggest, OP.

On the subject of fucking up film, I forgot to change the shutter speed from 1/15 before I snapped this. Still turned out kind of neat, but I hate wasting Ektar on fuckups.

I was just saying that shitty pns cameras from the 90s did get zeiss lenses. I know why kyocera was able to use zeiss branding but I really doubt the lens on the t4 or the T zoom is actually good. Like it's probably fine but it's not gong to rival something like the Sonnar on the contax T series.

guy just because it's printed doesn't mean that's the actual final 'real image'. you have to put filters on the enlarger to colour correct too. Don't expect some intern to give a shit enough to care.
