what can i do to edit this photo? i would also like to know what can be done for basic light and color adjustments in the future.

any critisism is appreciated, i just want to know how to get better.

Your subject should be interesting, or at least have good composition. Like this photo is decent, but I didn’t have it level so it needs some cropping to get gud.
