>>3487586I've had a GH2 for 7 years. Finally upgraded it to a GX85 after a LOT of research.
I also like videography a lot, even more than Photo, despite taking more pictures than videos myself.
I am a poorfag and used to use adapted old lenses: An old 80-200 soviet zoom, a 50mm 1.4 yashinon lens, (pretty nice), a toy C mount 25mm 1.2 cctv lens (amazing swirgly bokeh) and also bought an original Panny 20mm pancake 1.7 lens
I absolutely love the 20mm 1.7 lens and strong advice in getting it as your secondary lens. (Get the II, has better focus speed). I kinda ditched the toy and Yashin for the 20mm. 40mm equiv focal lenght is just sweet: It manages to be Intimate enough as well as wide enough.
I am planning on getting some more money to invest into a 14-140 or maybe an oly 14-150 lens for doing it all.
For video the 14-140 covers all the range you could possible need but you will still be lacking a good fast prime for portrait at around 70~90mm equivalent. Maybe a good ol' vintage 50mm 1.4 or 1.8 lens can do that if you find one in mint condition and adapt with a focal reducer. IBIS will do wonders for that. Alternatively just get a 7artisans 35mm 1.4 or 1.2 lens for that. The stepless aperture is great for video.
I was considering going into the A6300 or maybe A6500 route but the lens options were terrible expensive and I just stuck with the Pana.
