>>3490665Find a nice wide open area (preferably NOT OVER WATER) and send the drone out. It'll build your confidence. Remember to have tour homepoint set if you get confused/nervous and need to use the RETURN TO HOME feature. Als do your general pre-flight checks making sure props are secure, you have enough gps satellites to keep connection going etc
Remember wind force is often higher as the altitude of the drone rises so if it's windy at ground level before you fly, keep an eye on your monitor for wind warnings.
Lastly, it goes without saying but since you're not used to it, as you send it higher try to keep it within line of sight so you're not disoriented once you don't see it anymore.
