>>3505119>no, it isn't oversharpenedHmmm... I've found that your previous Moon shots look "odd". Certainly looks under exposed with some raping of the sliders. (in;b4 penumbra). The thumbnail looks ok but the actual image looks weird.
I think you may be trying to coax too much information. The full Moon is by definition bright, visually the surface features are relatively subtle. I've been observing and photographing the Moon for decades now. Don't get me wrong, it's a good capture but it doesn't look like the moon I see.
Anyhoo, I'm stoked for the Golden Anniversary. This sounds like bullshit but here goes:
>be me>in 1969>aged 2yo + 6months>first real tangible memory >asleep on the couch (odd)>WAKE UP ANON... LOOK!>TV looks broken>went back to sleeepThe thing I really remember was the audio from capcom: It was strange, metallic voices with harsh static in between phrases. Over the next fifty years the Moon has been a constant source of inspiration and wonder, both in fact and fiction.
Sir Patrick Moore was asked what he said to Moon landing conspirators, he answered "I don't".
