What is a source of inspiration that always gets you into the mood to go out and take photos?

I’m a downright pleb by /a/ standards, but Serial Experiments Lain and Psycho Pass are pretty good. I’m not sure if they are “real” cyberpunk though.

You would need to know the coordinates and then I'd just use a sun app that works with street view and there should be data that allows for future forecasts and you can plot a day to go take a shot in the similar location with the sun in the right spot.

Honestly I just drive out to the mountains without my camera, walk away from the road, and sit around doing nothing. I feel like taking a break from photography clears my head and gives me an appreciation for the world around me. Then when I go back I usually break past whatever block I was at beforehand, like I've rediscovered why I started taking photos in the first place.

Strangely enough I do something similar.

I go without a camera, but have a mindset that I have one with me. I look exclusively for composition.

When I find an interesting subject, id stand and observe on what would be a decisive moment to capture an image.

Its an interesting excercise if Im too busy or dont have the means to bring a camera, but would like to have a creative fix for the day.
