>>3497604i am terrible at editing, so my trick for myself is to make a preset and use it for literally every single photo. if i apply the preset and it looks good, great. if i apply the preset and it looks imperfect, that's part of the characteristic of the photo. i feel like haven't a consistency and style is better than taking an actually "good" photo. but my stuff is subject matter focus, so i won't say this method works for everyone.

I use the same setting for every photo because i usually do hardcore punk photos and you only get split second to take your shot. its aperture priority at f/8, flash on auto. basically with this setting and in the dark settings im usually in, its the flash taking the photo, not the shutter.
