Witnessed 2 officers shoot down a suspect they were checking pockets of after he began to run into the night. Using one of those listening tools I overheard them tossing his wallet into the drained and say
"We're not gonna get in trouble with this one, mark it as a John Doe, Death by lead poisoning."
"Sir, you think thats a good idea?"
"Well they shut down the coroners office, if noone claims to know the body it's into the burner anyways"
Talking to my cameraman, he already wiped the drive of videos for the entire night, said this is the 2nd time he's heard the same thing since the coroners office was closed for a new facility. Suggested we just go hit up the bar and pretend it never happened.
