>>3499259not sure if I should ask here or elsewhere, but here it goes.
a friend of mine wants to make some shop tutorials. ill get some more details out of him later but he is asking me for a setup.
I'm thinking a cheap dslr, or even a point and shoot, some of those got fairly good by the end of point and shoots being relevant.
the camera needs to have a line in for audio of some kind, this may change but im running on the assumption that he doesnt want to edit the videos to much.
and a voice recorder, something with a listen jack and potentially can be used as a usb microphone.
Honestly, each item serves dual purposes,
the camera when not taking video would be his 'I want a nice photo' camera, the voice recorder would be used as a mic for the camera, potentially as a reminder system, and also as a computer mic as he does alot of skype shit but never invested in a good mic, so a thing that doubles as a project mic along with a pc mic may justify a higher cost, which in turn makes his project higher quality as well.
can anyone give me some ideas on cheap cameras that have a line in of some kind for video?
