The moon is probably one of the easiest things to shoot really, at least among the things that get normies cream their panties. Shot like that calls for a relatively long tele setup and tons of patience and luck but it's not technically challenging at all.

One thing is composite of a blue hours sky and red hour ground, another is on the scale of full blown cgi. As long as he keeps calling it a photograph, he'll deserve all the flak he gets.

Nice try. The print was marketed as a "capture" by Lik's salespeople. Peter Lik kept his mouth shut through the whole shitshow.

Lik got called out as being a showman. Turns out most of his "masterpieces" were composites/photoshops, all the real work being done by "interns/employees".

The guy is a hack, pandering to rich American philistines.
