BTW On1, DXO, Camera One, Photoninja, Corel and others all could also free you from LR's subscriptions (these do cost money but they're not subscriptions, if you don't jump at every update -as many apparently did prior to the forced LR subscriptions- they'll pretty much all be cheaper).
They also have management capabilities & many of them run faster.
