They're ok but not that interesting. Don't be sad anon. There's always next time. It was hazy/overcast here.

<pic related is a transit of Mercury across the Sun from a few years back, I've never been lucky with eclipses. I coloured it orange so normies could tell it was the Sun.

Took this last year while innawoods... no telescope or filter, just a telephoto and the perfect amount of cloud cover which you can see slightly.

No point, other than satisfying curiosity and going "huh" when you do. I liked the idea of using the clouds a filter to take a spur of the moment pic of the sun. Unfortunately, I don't carry a H-Alpha filter around with me.

Yup, it's just to reassure the readers that someone who has "been" to University isn't smarter than them. They were baffled.
