And yes it's an intrepid 4x5 - I spotted it in a second hand shop with tripod, lens, and a darkslide included for £300 last year - finally started to use it recently.

Since those first developments I've started to use an app called Viewfinder to help with composition, and it's an incredibly useful tool.
I have no real concept behind these shots besides being compositional exercises and opportunities to refine my development technique before I begin some projects I have in mind.
