>>3510868I realize it's a gag thread but I'm being serious. I've got friends on FB who share that "everyone's a photographer until.... *picture of letter 'M' on mode dial*". And they chortle to themselves about how above the rest they are because they take technically competent photos of garbage. Hell, some of them can't even make them technically competent. But imagine painters bragging about being able to mix colors or shade or draw proportions correctly. It's nice, but it's also expected of you. Taking a photo that's not technically garbage without intent is also expected of any photographer, as a baseline, but people get hung up on it because visually, they've nothing to say.
