I'm of the belief that you should try every film stock at least once. Portra is a solid stock though; start with 400 for casual shooting, and use 160 for portrait work.

Do you see yourself wanting to try B&W?

Yup, I picked up some 400TX a week or so ago. Been was gonna load it up and see how I like it after this current roll is done.
