The fine details aren’t super important when projecting on a model—the model, after all, is the star of the show in the finished product; the projection is just a textural overlay. My experience is usually that if there are too many fine details, the model gets lost and it just looks like a moderately fucked up version of the slide.
I’ve done about three or four previous rolls of slides, so I have a little bit of experience, but I still often find myself surprised by what does and doesn’t work, and I often find that there are slides that I thought were lame for years suddenly find the right model and the right pose and the combination is amazing. I don’t have super high hopes for the 69 one, either, but I couldn’t resist that shot.
