I want to buy a full frame camera (preferably Canon because I already have Canon lenses) that'll be decently future-proof, but I don't know what to get. I have the 5D Mark IV in mind, but it's already 3 years old and I don't want to buy it then have the Mark V release soon afterward.
I'm not sure if I should go with the EOS R because the RF lenses are pretty expensive, and right now I mainly use a 70-200 2.8 and a 18-135 on my 80D. I could attach the converter mount to be able to use them on the EOS R but I'll most likely keep purchasing EF lenses as they seem to be cheaper than the RF lenses being offered at the moment but I don't want to keep using older lenses that technically shouldn't be paired with a mirrorless camera.
