Hold me /p/. I just sold all* of my photography gear.
I had the impression that I only ever cared about gear, not pictures. I spent hundres of hours reading reviews, watching videos etc. instead of going out to take pictures. I bought stuff I never wanted, lenses I didn`t need and switched systems 3 times in the last two years.
Now it is all gone, and I the only camera I have left is my D40, my first DSLR ever. I feel like I never improved my skills, only my gear. I want to focus on images. Wish me luck.
