One of my first shots, I edited it randomly, I had no idea about what I'm doing, I wasn't even checking the screen properly
But it turned out perfect (to me)

Sorry fren, the story is I used a variable neutral density filter on a windy day so I could get long exposures in broad daylight and thought this picture was charming.

Also that tree is in my parents yard and it's special to me for various reasons.

How do you guys get this very crisp uniform whiteness in the background?
Is that something you're doing in post, or is there some trick to getting shots like that without completely blowing out the lighter bits of the subject?

I usually just look for skies like this. Makes it really easy to edit.
If not, and your picture doesn't has blue elements expect the sky in it, playing with the saturation and luminance of the sky should do the job
