It was a market already completely over-saturated, it made no sense for Samsung to enter without buying a preexisting company like Sony did with Minolta. Funnily enough, though, Samsung did own Rollei in the 90's. If they'd kept them, they could have entered the market with a Rollei camera, perhaps licensing a pre-existing mount and have completely killed it.

They teamed up with Pentax, there were some camera bodies that got both brand labels and were just slightly cosmetically different.
There were some ok ones on woot for like $200 back in the day, kicking myself for not getting one then.

I know someone who had the same shit fucking nothing works after 3 years from the fridge to the dishwasher even the stove fucks up constantly
The worst was the fridge just decided to dispense water for about 8 hrs one day when they where at work

I actually had an NX galaxy a few years ago. It was a bit of a dog but great being able to use VSCO on the camera an upload it to Flickr and Instagram.

No such problem on my end. Both the washer and fridge work perfectly fine.

No water dispensers or pointless smart panels on the fridge though, just a fridge.

Correct. Gamble that worked. Despite moving from larger sensor market, they climbed to a second position in total sensor market. Question if this would be achievable if technological focus would be dispersed along formats.

It seems like South Korea is just a discount version of Japan.

Even China has realised this and are sourcing Sony for all of their high-end smartphones like Huawei P30 pro and P20 pro.

I've had the same experiences with Samshit; I refuse to buy anything from them.
I bought a brand new TV from them and it burned out within two years.
My uncle bought one of their refrigerators and it failed within a year.
My mother's Galaxy Lite is an unusable piece of shit.

It seems their big Mexican made TVs are okay, though.
Probably because they don't own the plant.

Those aren't what they used to be, m8. I bought an expensive Bosch fridge two years ago and thought that it was made in Germany. But nope, even Bosch has sourced out their home appliance businesses. The fridge for example was actually made by Beko in Turkey.

Yes, although FDM even with ""calibration"" requires some finishing.

Electronic aperture on the old lens? I have an old Canon FD 50, it has an aperture ring.
