For years after this was uploaded, I only made pocket change off print sales and license sales.
Very recently I made a decent amount of money off it because a famous rapped used it without my permission. But this only happened because it went viral.
Maybe I could've capitalized on that photo better by continuing to do work in that style. Maybe some company would've noticed me eventually and maybe I would've landed a job as a concept photographer.
Realistically those chances are small.
This is why I went down my route. It gives me a constant stream of work and I still get to photograph people who I think look interesting or attractive. On top of that, I still have a large amount of control over the shoots for the most part.
>>3523072I guarantee that the guy in the OP screenshot has purchased followers. His posts aren't getting the correct ratio of engagement. At 5000 followers he should be getting around 200-400 likes per decent post. Some shit tier ones naturally get less. But that's not the case with him.
