Finna get a new camera. Trying to decide between the D7500 and D5600. Price is not a huge issue and no I’m not getting an older version of either camera. Which one should I get senpai?

Well, as long as the image sensor is uncompromisingly better on the D7500. That is the case isn’t it?

You're the first one to bring up that model in this thread. OP asked for D7500 and D5600. The latter doesn't have it.

You pay a little more on D7200, but in the (not that long) long-term, you'll save money on lenses. I've got D5600 and just the most basic prime 50mm costs 2x as much because of the lack of an AF motor. On the other hand, articulated display helps me in lots of circumstances, like shooting animals or doing street without pointing camera at people.

D7500, has the D500 sensor and a screw-drive motor to use older AF-D Nikon glass, the 5600 doesn't have that.

The 7500 also has a flippy screen for street creeper shots, it's going to be the crop sensor camera I slap on my Tammy 150-600

I'm seriously looking at the d7500 too sugar pie.

Cons: No second card slot, no battery grip etc.
Pros: Sensor, fps and buffer etc.

The main thing is how cheap you can get these for now. Used in "excellent" condition I can get one here for about 650 credits.

Seems like a lot of richfags bought one and then sold them because muh pro camera. I like a grip and dual slots but I don't need them. The d7500 seems like the ultimate snapshitter dslr.

There's a few months until Xmas bonus time so we'll see. My glass is OK for a poorfag. d7000 vs d7500 is a major upgrade imho.
