I've only ever done like two landscape shots all together so I haven't got a clue.
Do what feels right to you, there's no objectively correct way of going about things, I just did what looked alright to me and focused on one set of features in your shot. The valley to the left is super interesting imo and the more I look at the crop I made the less I like it and would change it a tad, perhaps just a switch from portrait to a 4:5 landscape but generally containing the same material.
Only key thing I'd take away from this is to simplify and focus on less
Unless the key is to show more like you would with a pano shot
