the thing indicated by arrows does not want to roll
it might have been caused by my camera being used in high humidity (i have just returned from a vacation)
help please i want my camera back

Please dont do this.

Try dripping a small amount of 99% isopropyl alcohol into the mechanism from outside while its turned off and gently try rotating it. It might also come unstuck with time, try leaving it in a bag of rice too. Dont try to disassemble your camera.

Lost circular function dial thingy on mine. Never even near water, now it just skips through menus like crazy. Build quality on these things is atrocious.

No it doesn't. You need two dials to comfortably use the cam in one of the program modes. One for aperture/shutter the other for exposure compensations. Even with top one intact it's a hard to use the cam. Can't imagine how it's with what op has.

No, you can set it to any way. I have it for aperture and press down on back wheel and it becomes exposure, plus you can change what all those c1 buttons do and use the wheel for that

I know that, but doing that is not comfortable in any way. With two quasi dials it was okish, limited to one is much harder. Luckily buttons and cross functions still work.

I don't know about harder. sometimes I forget about the top wheel. It depends I suppose if you use the viewfinder or not, I don't and the back wheel is easier for some reason to use a lot

This. I was a Sony fag until my A6000 and A7s started to fail over stupid things literally out of the blue. A7s screen just died..the fn button was intermittent. A6000 evf flickered. I also had a HX90v compact and the zoom ring jammed and the pop up viewfinder fell off and was lost. Switched to a different brand and have had no issues during heavy work. Build quality and quality control are not Sony's strong points.
