>>3528155You're going about this the completely wrong way, just like every other gearfag and lensfag in the world.
Stop wasting money on DX lenses that keep you tied to the DX system. Someday you will finally want to bite the full-frame bullet, and your DX lenses will be worthless to you and need to be replaced.
If I want to upgrade my D800 someday, I'll only need to buy a new body.
Nikon is never going to sell a 36+ mp sensor capable of the same dynamic range, with excellent high iso performance, a built-in focus motor, weather sealing, dual memory card slots, multiple programmable function dials and buttons, a secondary display, etc. all in one DX body. These are all highly desirable features depending on the kind of work you do.
Hell, I've seen crop frame bodies that don't even have the right ports built in for studio lights and tether cables (which are essential to my own work).
I would never EVER encourage someone to drop big bucks on DX glass. Buy a full frame camera and buy a high-quality prime or two. Most zoom lenses are going to suck regardless of which system you use, unless you're willing to truly invest big $$ in them. And unless you're a wedding photographer, a corny wildlife photographer, or a real estate photographer, you really don't need zoom lenses anyways.
