Sup /p/, new fag to photography here. If I want to shoot black and white should I go with a film camera over a digital?

I'd say digital is better for beginners because you can shoot and try different things/styles without wasting tons of film.

Shoot digital in color and derive a bw picture. That way you can control the color channels to make reds stand out for example.

Film is basically the most expensive option by far if you shoot a lot, never mind the cost in time to scan / archive it.
