If they permanently remove likes in all countries, I could see it slowly starting to die off. I’ve seen a lot of people from countries where likes have already been removed saying that their engagement has completely tanked and they’re having a hard time finding the motivation to post anymore. And it’s honestly fucking ridiculous when instagrams algorithm revolves around how many likes and comments you get. If you don’t get likes/comments, then Instagram won’t even show your post to anyone and if no one sees your posts, then why post at all?
I really hope they give up on this dumb “experiment”
