>>3531887Sorry Anon, that's just how it is. But there are plenty of cheaper, more interesting choices up for grabs - and even more if you accept a 2/3 stop slower lens (not a huge difference). Just look through the wikis and google manufacturer back catalogues. Every manufacturer multiple interesting film compacts to offer from the 80's through to the turn of the millennium. I recently helped a friend pick up a Canon MC, and it suits him right down to the ground. Nikon has some great late 80's compacts, as do Minolta. The models that interest me the most are actually the late 90's upper-mid tier cameras from the likes of Fuji or Pentax's Espio series. Take a look into them.
