Anything you want that takes a modicum of thought and doesnt invade people's privacy. Honestly my main gripe is how pretentious streetfags are. They often try to attach some strange artistic value to the most mundane pictures, acting like its high art because its black and white and they didnt tell the person being photographed. I find it boring as shit 9/10 times, with incredibly rare exceptions, the majority being photos during important or extraordinary events (like riots, wars, or unique time periods) or when the photographer accomplishes great and unique composition. You will not find any of those things in 9/10 modern street photos.

The vast majority of modern streetphotography is just lazy, uninspired attempts at photo journalism, but instead of interesting subjects you get the backs of people as they cross a stret.

I don't post my pictures anywhere and purely do it for myself. I just take pictures of things that just look interesting or that i like. Sometimes that is on a street.

Portraits that arent just vaguely attractive white girls against some neon.

Love a good landscape, preferance towards mountains and coast lines. And urban snow, shame it doesnt snow where i live.

I respect macro photography, but i hate insects so i cant stand looking at them.

Top tier astro photography is pretty crazy, dudes taking 4k pictures of mars and shit.

Also love historical photojournalism, not a fan of the look of many modern ones because theyre mainly just focused on getting the information and selling it as fast as possible, which i get, thats the news game nowadays.

i mean it's same just like in music, literature, film etc. all the top 100 songs charts and young adult being top sellers. all the really experimentation and boundary pushing work comes from the underground scene.
even in this age most of the photography art world exist out of internet, it exists in print.
the people that you're talking about view photography as a hobby and use it as a fashion accessory or to pretend how creative they are.
if you view photography as an art medium or if you want to improve as photographer or if you just want see interesting work then i would suggest you to stay away from these social media hobbyist trendchasers and put your focus on art world instead.

I like electronic microscope pics, but that's not not really the same work.
