-hand mitre saw
-corner clamps
-a large steel rule
-a bevel cutter
-glass cutter
-cutting matt
There are loads of extra tools to make it easier but none of that should cost you much. All that plus consumable materials should be less than one frame you bought. And it is a good investment if you are serious about displaying. I have a workshop/studio to do this and create canvases for painting, to which I would say it makes me very mobile to produce physical work and I save a lot vs paying the privilege.
This is an 2A0 print I mounted to board which was risky to do but ended up costing chump change in comparison to paying. Seriously, price to size scaling on prints and mounting is ridiculous.
If you can't even justify these meagre tools then join a community workshop and use theirs.
