let's talk about 6x9 film camera
here my zeiss Ikonta
It's a very beatiful camera.
Making lovely 6x9 negativ

It make alos very sharp image for an old lens

I also picked up a Netta recently. Now I only have to wait for my 120 film to arrive and then I can go! Got it for 12€ so I hope the bellow won't have light leaks.

I picked up a Fuji GW690 recently, about 4 shots through the 8 shots in a roll. I really like it except that the rangefinder patch is a fucking tiny circle and hard to see at times. I'm basically forced to zone focus, which is helping me learn to judge distances accurately at least. It's a great camera for landscapes or cityscapes.

On focus ring lens, there is meter indication of focus ( 2m or 5m etc..)

It's big but not heavy. Not really that expensive, to me it was affordable with a full-time job. I imported it from Japan.

I currently have a Mamiya 645 1000s, a few of the cheap German folding cameras and some holgas. I'm looking to buy something similar and have it be my main medium format camera.

The Fujifilm gw 690 II seems to be the most affordable. Wanting to spend around 300-650 CAD. Any recommendations?

The GW690ii is great but it's really not that versatile, you'd be better off with something like the Mamiya RZ67, RB67 or Pentax 67.

The GW690 is good but like I've said the rangefinder is hard to use, especially coming from a camera with a crystal clear rangefinder patch like a Leica/Bessa/Canon P. You might be better off with a TLR like the Yashica Mat 124G.

The P defiantly has the worst rangefinder patch out of the bunch. Sure it's huge but it's not contrasty what so ever. Idk if there's a difference between the GW690 and GW690ii's patch but my mark ii has a gorgeous patch, on mark with Leica's. I've never had an issue focusing with the GW690ii.

ETRS is 645 so eh plus they already have the Mamiya 645, SQ is 6x6 so it's niche and the GS-1 you may as well just get a RZ67.
With that being said I'm in the market for a Bronica EC

I just scanned my first images with the Nettar 6x9. It was kinda hard to use the viewfinder precisely as its only a small metal frame. I also feel that I fucked up setting the arpeture because I could not figure out if above or under the marking sets it correctly. And its a bit blurry, either I was really shaking more than I thought or the infinity focus is off. I'll have to check with some pergament paper later.

I used to have an old ass yashicaflex camera but sold it ages ago and id like to get back into 120 shooting. Any recs for a camera that's a little more traditional and a bit easier to use than these types? Preferably not breaking the bank as i got the yashica basically for free so im not keen on dropping $500
