>>3539069I don't have a memory disorder, but as I grew up it still started alarming me how much of my life I was forgetting. More than once I've had people tell me "Ah, let it go, you won't care and you'll have forgotten all about it in a few years", and then a few years later I still care and still kinda remember but wish I remembered better, instead of having it fade. I'm scared of things slipping away and feel this urge to capture them while I can, having photographs comforts me.
also yes, if others like them, that's a nice bonus, but I'd still take most of them even if nobody else would ever see them.
