It's going well, I edited pictures last night and mailed some film out. Came up with a title and meaning. Do you think 20 copies is enough? I need to start formulating layouts.

Where does one start? Feel like I have the bones of a book already with what I've shot but need to narrow in on a subject. Was thinking of doing a series on store front windows cause I just got took a whole bunch of snaps in Niagara.

already picked out some of the photos i want but i still need to get to under 100
ive only edited some of them though
just started learning a little bit of Illustrator for designing the layout
job stuff has come up recently though so i havent touched any of that project for like 3 weeks now

edit photos
dump photos in indesign
decide the dimensions of your photobook
look up youtube for layout tutorials
lay it all out
send to a printer to print
let the copies gather on your desk because nobody wants to buy them or just give them away

How do you guys organize your photos?

I want a system that allows me to categorize them, and browse by categorization, without removing them from their original file structure (by film roll).
I’d like to see all color, or all architecture, or all portraits, on command.
