I'm looking at their website but I can't get my head around how it works.

Do you pay them $xxx for so many copies to be printed and then sell them through their site? Or do you pay them a flat fee and they print to order?

they print to order, you get a copy and they print that for u. But you can also get like 50 copies way more cheap and make more money if you want

So you pay them the cost shown on their pricing calculator but do you get 100% of the cover price or do they take a commission off that as well?

It's very well executed, however I just find the content somewhat unappealing. It's definitely for a niche audience, but you've done a phenomenal job on the layout and aesthetic.

they always take commission, a large number of copies will make the prints cheaper for u , but you have to make plans for what you are gonna do with all those copies first. The online way is easier for me

Probably would be for me too. Designing and printing the things is easy, I can do that here. Distribution is the hard bit.

In UK, I think I made it worse by ordering both at once.
Cheapest option is £7.99 for 1, if I get both it jumps to £20 and change for shipping.
It’s cool, I will sulk about it for a bit then order.

and how do you shoot pics like that? is that all post-processed or in-camera?

thank you kind fren. I have very artsy frens, so i've never paid a model for photo work. But I dont do too much editing actually, but they were scanned with cotton and some other textures. Shot everything with a canon ftb qt. First issue of the mag has some digital, some polaroid 600 and some lo fi digital garbage looks a little bit different.
