I am a wedding photographer. I’ve had my fair share of weddings, mostly white and rarely mixed race. ALL heterosexual couples. I was asked a few weeks ago by a lesbian couple over Instagram to send them prices for my packages and I have since ignored it. I just received another message from them asking for more information.
How long can I keep ignoring them? Can I refuse them my service professionally and recommend another photographer who can accommodate their needs better? I don’t want these people ruining my business like the cake shop in Oregon. I don’t support the gay lifestyle and don’t want my clientele to come from that culture. I am also a Christian and my upbringing has brought me up to not encourage their choices. Please help.
TLDR: lesbians asked for me to do their wedding. without harming my business reputation, how do I refuse them my services?
