>>3559607>The F2 trinity have incredibly fast and silent AF motors. You're correct, and these are almost the only lenses in the lineup that do. But let's look at IQ:
>https://www.imaging-resource.com/lenses/fujinon/xf-35mm-f2-r-wr/review/Vignette, chromabs and distortion are well controlled. Corners are very soft. $400.
>https://www.imaging-resource.com/lenses/olympus/25mm-f1.8-m.zuiko-digital/review/Vignetting, chromabs, and distortion are slightly worse. Sharper throughout the whole frame at almost every f-stop but especially wide open where it matters most. Smaller. Lighter. $250.
>almost all of the major Fuji lenses are WR lenses, especially the recent additions.FALSE! The *vast* majority of X lenses are not weather sealed!
>https://alikgriffin.com/a-complete-list-of-fujifilm-x-mount-lenses/>Their IQ is considered very good to excellent Except you can just go through any benchmarking website and see conclusively the X mount lenses are almost universally inferior optically, often significantly so, to their competitors lenses, especially those from Olympus and Panasonic.
>you love MFTI don't have emotions towards MFT any more than I have emotions towards my powertools or my refrigerator. They're tools for a job. I appreciate the best tools for the job. 95%+ of the time, MFT are the superior tools for the job, given the requirements.
Fuji X mount isn't the best in anything except perhaps SooC jpegs. They're a romance brand. They aren't serious tools for anything except small niches like street photography at portrait focal lengths, and even then "best" is subjective. They're not competitive for stills through the whole focal range, and certainly not competitive for video by any stretch of the imagination.
Why can't you just be honest?
