You know why this is strange? Because out of all topics, which could be discussed here, gear is the most interesting topic to discuss for third parties. Or to say it like that: It is the one topic someone can earn money with.

Think about it; every other topic is not convertible to money in any way. People post pictures they made or discuss how to direct models or stage szenes or how you make this or that effect or illusion etc. pp.. All of that is useless for a third party with commercial interests.
