Hey i found this beirette at my gramps house, shutter, advance and aperture seem to work fine even if rusty
Lens is dirty as fuck and also the overall camera
The lens is a meritar 45mm i think, is this camera worth the hassle?
Not my first analog but could use a smaller one

Also how does the focusing work in this kind of viewfinders? The sight hole has two positions but its stuck

It doesn't. It's a simple viewfinder camera with no focusing aids. You guess the distance and set it on the lens and that's it.
The more you stop down, and the further away your subject is, the less likely it is to get an unusably blurry photo.

It's a rudimentary version of parallax correction.
Because the viewfinder is offset from the lens (up and a bit to the left), as you shoot something in close distances, what you capture on the frame is gonna be a bit further down than what you see in the viewfinder (in longer distances that becomes negligible).
So I guess the movable thing compensates for that, i.e. when shooting something close, you can move the viewfinder a bit down to see more accurately what you'll be capturing.

It looks like it has mold in the lens, so it's probably not going to be great, but you'd have to put a roll of film through it to find out how bad it is
