Have you considered Sony? Their sensors are generations ahead of the competition. There is no other camera manufacturer that can come even close to Sony.

I just pawned off all my Nikon gear and invested in the much better Sony system. This board was an amazing resource for learning about how much better Sony full frame cameras are for all of my demanding professional photographic needs.

all cameras perform pretty well given their seperate price points. A $1000 camera will perform just as good as any other $1000 camera.

Fuck, even the humble Canon T3I will do a fine job for just about anything you throw at it.

People still shoot 35mm film for weddings, and they charge premiums for it too. Last wedding I shot had someone doing Super8mm as well.

Cheapest Leica lens is a 1300 dollar pancake.
Cheapest panasonic lens is also 1300 dollars.
It's a dead mount.

One is going to be significantly less expensive, the other is vastly superior optically with far more focal plane options.
