I managed to finally get a 2x anamorphic projector lens and I've been waiting on sunshine to get out and test the setup out.
Went to the local park and the sun fucked off as I got there, no flares this time. Also missed autumn at its peak.

Using a helios 44-2 with a speedbooster on my a6300 on all shots.

With this ghetto-rig setup I've put together with a macro-slider, I can get within the closest focus of the helios, about 40cm. It's a real cunt to focus but once I nail the focus on all 3 parts it get's sharp in the middle but the rest is whack.

Almost everything shot around f/2.8/ or f4, whatever it is the clickless aperture ring ends up at turning it 4mm.
Almost everything is 3:1 ratio and I have to crop off the edges due to barrel vignetting. On close focus the barrel vignette is negligible but the ratio becomes a bit taller.
6000x2000p vs 6000x2500 for example.

Have some snapshits that actually took 1-3minutes to focus.
