FELLAS. Can anyone of you extremely optically tuned photographers tell me what was used to capture this photo? or maybe anything that could relate to how it looks? I have had this picture for so long and can't figure it out

Yep, 35mm Fuji film. Lens looks like a 35mm with good micro-contrast/punch. Might be a summicron non-asph, an M-Hexanon or the Hexar RF.

Crank up the ISO to at least 1200 and go from there.

Vsco was pretty good. If you can find a mega link anywhere with a profile adapted to your camera (vsco standard just doesn't cut it)

Martin labs in my opinion is a shit tier joke. Mans presets are basic with just some minor changes to the hue and saturation. To top it all of Kirk mastin got exposed for using fake reviews on his website

RNI Films is pretty good. They go for the film look scanned on a shit scanner. Which does work. But the white balance of their presets are always off and require heavy tweaking. But overall a good experience

I'd say I use 70% vsco. 30% RNI.

Also. Never pay for presets. Just torrent that shit

shot looks a bit green, raise the blacks (nothing looks dead black), shoot with a vintage 50mm f/2, bump up some noise, seems over exposed too

use tone curves to get slightly faded blacks and look up tables that emulate film color, I reckon this look could be achieved with a Fuji sensia preset.

Bonus: add grain, but I think it's a bit gimmicky unless it's natural.
