>>3558990> well, you answered your own question, that explains why they're boringFair enough lol
> Be honest, if you were shooting the grass as the subject, then your composition would have been different. Either that or your instinct for framing and composition are worse than i thought.Honestly probably not. Normally you're right and I would have focused more on the grass, but I kind of wanted to show more of the mountain than what those types of shots might have normally done. Maybe that's wrong, and just a sign of bad composition though, idk.
> If you saw the photos you took at the national park gift store, how much money would you pay for a print to hang up on your wall?Ah, I think that's maybe where we're looking at this differently. I do photography 100% for either a hobby, or if it's needed of me at my day job. I'm not looking to ever sell any photos. And actually I would buy a print of at least one of my shots, maybe I'm liking shit, but at least it's my own shit!
> either you take the advice and learn, or if you wanted praise you can go to reddit. your choiceYou guys are actually 1000% more helpful (in the special insulting 4chan way that I've missed) than Reddit was when I tried posting there. So I appreciate it! :)
>>3558991Ah he's fine, wouldn't be 4chan without that cut-throat tone!
>>3558997I know someone else said they didn't like your edit, but I actually really like it! I definitely can see that there's plenty more in the photo that can be brightened up.
I ideally definitely would have used a zoom lens, but I don't own anything very good in terms of dedicated telephoto lenses. I do have a Nikon P900 that's fun to play around with, but isn't the best photo quality.
