Anyone unironically using the scene modes on your cam?

I imagine they are especially useful for jpg shooters

My "consumer" DSLR has a pet mode with a submenu to choose between cat and dog. Always seemed ridiculous to me.

you have to look up the numbers in the manual

60 for example is for kids: fast shutter speeds and punchy colors

Some mirrorless cams have silent shutter hidden only under scene modes. There's even a law in Japan, possibly Korea also, that specifies that all cameras must make a shutter sound when taking pic.

Don’t shoot in jpg like a babby and this is irrelevant. Funny enough anyone who’s shooting this camera isn’t shooting jpg. I checked out the x-pro3 out at photoplus last week. Pretty sweet little camera.
