Need suggestions of which crop sensor system to go with. APS-C and MFT both look close enough not to matter. Need to know good suggestions from both systems.

For your workloads the Sony would do just fine, most cameras would really. Product is about the least demanding sort of photography you can do

I wouldn't say aps-c pisses all over mft...that's FF's job...but I also would never buy mft for stills. (Well...I shouldn't say never. If Pentax remade the Auto 110 with a mft sensor and evf I would be interested.) But I also have new and vintage FF glass and 2x crop factor is stupid. It's what keeps me away from the bmpcc 4k.

For product go with em5ii. It's seeing $400 price drops, and it's the cheapest camera right now with high resolution mode. It's only 16mp, but with high res it's giving you 64mp files that are beating ff sensors. High res is tripod only, and only usable on static scenes, but in product photography that is not a problem.

The a6000 is only $650 on Amazon WITH A LENS. If you have $900 to spend on the body alone there are much better options. If you're really into video look at something with 4k from Sony or Fuji. Hell, I can even recommend Canon here since they released the M6 mark II with full width 4k. And at 24mp to 32mp you won't need "muh gimmick stitch mode."

For video even if your final output will be FHD, starting from 4k will result in much higher quality. And even if you don't care about 4k at all you could get an a6000 with lens and a fucking gimbal for the price of the em5ii.

That's because they're being bought up like mad as people are dumping them for the 5iii. If you check again in the middle of the week, especially on Amazon, you'll see them show up for cheap and stay listed for like 2 hours or so. I'm sure tons of people have price alerts set up for when they go below $300. I've seen them about $300 with the 40-150 R II even.
