My photography year was going from "huh, photography sounds like something I might find interesting" to borrowing a 10 year old DSLR from a friend to getting my own for Christmas, I can't complain.

Excellent. First year having found my genre. Street. In one year ive experienced so much growth in style and each day I get better. The only issue is that my taste will always outpace my performance. Two major trips NYC (met Daniel Arnold) and Rome. Might make a zine of each. Or submit to a small gallery with this years work. Also approx 6 months into daily posting.

Really good, finally decided to chase my dream of doing it full time. working a little more everyday. made a promise to myself to take 5000 shots this year and im less than 500 away. to anyone looking for inspiration or is unsure of themselves, it starts with small steps everyday and building your confidence from there. anyone who was ever successful saw themselves in the position before it happened. sow seeds of success in your mind, not doubt and worry

I started film photography in fall 2018 but this year I really got into it. I feel like I made a lot of progress artistically. I shot my first boudoir-style shoot that I've ever been happy with. Sometime in the last couple months something in my brain just clicked in terms of understanding exposure and composition.

I made a lot more money in my nightclub photography job than I did in the last two years, but I also realized that I fucking hate it and it's eating me inside out.

meh, but got myself a canon eos r late this year so i'm excited for the future.
