does anybody have recommendations for thin camera straps that don’t have sticky rubber? Seriously, as thin as possible, something like 1cm would be ideal.

Get a vintage one from a thrift shop attached to some old Pentax. It's just leather.

Get leather strap. Pure leather, no bells and whistles. Leather breathes, and feels natural to the skin, plus it's deters thieves because it's hard to cut.

Most "vintage" 10x50 binoculars have a thin leather strap attached. Use that and throw the binos in the bin.
