OP here, pic related.
>>3573776>>3573785Gear: Nikon FA with Nikkor 55mm 2.8 Micro, and Ektar 100.
I'm also new to film, I literally shot these over the last few days on my first roll. I'm pleasantly surprised by how some of them turned out. Though mind you, a roll contains 36 photos, which means I was not satisfied with 30 of the remaining shots I took.
Key take away is that with film, you shouldn't be afraid to shoot at a medium to smaller aperture, because focusing with an old-school viewfinder is a bit challenging. Many of my close up shots of flowers and horses at f2.8 were out of focus.
>>3573778>>3573785Thanks guys!
>>3573787Love this one!
>>3573819Regarding the last photo, I was personally conflicted as to whether or not I should've cloned out the right side in Photoshop. I ultimately decided not to, because I think it goes against the principle of shooting film. I think minor defects and imperfections are part of the charm of shooting film. It also serves as a mechanism for future self-improvement. What does /p/ think?
>>3573821>>3573822Hey, you're not me, this is awkward! I like the second photo though.
