people are just looking for some validation before they buy whatever bullshit gear they already convinced themselves they wanted anyway
even the more involved gear blogs that go deep into what their shooting experience was like with a piece of gear and do 90 rounds of corner sharpness comparisons and MTF charts and all that bullshit don't accomplish anything more. you gotta give it up for Ken realizing that people just want the same stupid details (filter size, weight, general specs, "oh hey it's sharp") so he can do the same rundown of a million items, sometimes never even owning or using them, then slap an affiliate link on it and call it a day.
